Samsung launched 10 nmsram memory
Well-known according to south Korean media reported that samsung semiconductor companies now have developed first in the world based on 10 nm FinFET processSRAM(Static Random Access Memory), i.e., Static Random Access Memory.Actually IBM semiconductor alliance in July when they created the world's first 10 nm wafers, but because of technical problems of 10 nm process, a lot of semiconductor manufacturers have postponed their 10 nm process plan.
In terms of each of the 10 nm progress, IBM's commercial fastest 10 nm process by 2018 will be formally launched, Intel's 10 nm also has plans to delay to released in 2017, TSMC is announced in the first quarter of 2017 in terms of volume 10 nm CPU, and according to the plan and progress of samsung now, 10 nm CPU for mass production, the fastest will be implemented at the end of 2016, perhaps the Galaxy S8 can catch up to 10 nm SoC's guess.
Now most of the SRAM is used for the CPU's cache, and based on the 10 nm SRAM compared to the 14 nm process, it can reduce the area of about 30%, this means that it can be a certain degree of reduce the power consumption of the CPU and CPU fever, at the same time able to smaller area into more cache, can effectively improve the performance of the CPU.
